1 When to use
Videos are approximately 15 – 20 minutes long and can be used in the classroom or at home.
Use in a classroom with students standing behind their desks viewing a screen. These videos can be used flexibly, including:
- As a starter
- As part of a plenary
- To get children up and moving between lessons
- Set as home learning or homework
- To catch up for missed school
At home watch the video anywhere you have a phone, tablet or laptop and space to move on the spot.
2 How to use
Select your age group and a topic you would like to cover below.
There are three difficulty levels of questions available in the videos:
- Beginner: working towards expected
- Intermediate: working at expected
- Advanced: working above expected
Students can solve one of these questions or all three.
Play the video solving the questions and being physically active on the spot.
Submit your answer to the bonus question for the chance to win a prize.
3 Sharing your access
Teachers signed up for the Mathematics World Cup can share Lesson Laps with all teachers and parents in their school completely free.
Schools with a subscription to Lesson Laps have access for all teachers and parents.
